“know thyself”

I am approachable, a core humanitarian, and a contemporary lady.

I know who I am, what my purpose is, and understand the reasons why it is necessary to address critical matters now in order to co-create abundance, a balanced, harmonious, flourishing, and united future for all of humankind.

My journey is flexible, not fixed. According to continued research in the health field, I adapt, make adjustments, and keep learning (Continuing Professional Development).

inspired by heritage and fellow HEALERS

I was inspired to practise Ayurveda professionally through a path of honouring my heritage, the diverse and rich tapestry of experiences weaved from global travels to some World Wonders, many sacred spiritual places, and being in the presence of people who have devoted their lives to assisting others.

I answered a calling to dharma (one's personal duty or purpose in life according to Universal and Natural Law) and my inner ignited warrior took action. I have trained and continue to study alongside world-class experts in Modern Medicine, classical and modern Ayurvedic Medicine, Sanskrit terms and slokas, as well as Vedic Science from America, Europe, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tibet, and the UK.

CLASSICAL and modern ayurveda

“Ayurveda is beyond beginning and ending. A science of eternal healing, it is compared to a vast ocean, and studying Ayurveda to swimming across. A true teacher can teach one how to swim, but the swimming is up to the student; …it is a lifelong journey.”

Charaka Samhita, Sutrasthana, Chapt. 30

the wholeness of Eastern and Western approaches to health and wellbeing

I feel fortunate to have studied a Bachelor of Arts, (BA), in Visual Arts and Digital Media, and then continued with Master of Arts, (MA), courses in Vedic Science and Sanskrit at the pioneering Maharishi International University, in Iowa, USA.

Consciousness-based education, (CBE), encourages the incorporation of the Transcendental Meditation® stress management technique, Maharishi Yoga Asanas, organic Ayurvedic meals, sustainable living, and an active outdoor lifestyle into a Sattvic Dinacharya, (one’s daily activities and routine in ever-flowing and growing balance with the cycles of Nature).

In 2021, I advanced my professional expertise in Ayurvedic Medicine by pursuing a three-year Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Maharishi AyurVeda® and Integrative Medicine (MAVIM).

Maharishi AyurVeda® addresses individuals' body, mind, and environment to help them become holistically healthy.

we are a MULTIPLICITY OF differences + similarities as FELLOW human beings,

we are DIVERSE CREATIONS + EXPRESSIONS OF NATURE,

we are the personification of limited + unlimited energies,

we are both the material greatness + subtle subjective ASPECTS of divinity and thIS VAST SWIRLING universe.

Aṇor aṇīyān mahato mahīyān

—Vedic text: Katha Upanishad Sutrasthana, Verse 1.2.20

“WE ARE TRANSITIONING TO the new earth consciousness: A MERGENCE OF ANCIENT EASTERN AND MODERN WESTERN VALUES.

Like the cycles of the sun or Surya and moon or Chandra, both self-luminous and non-luminous bodies, polar opposites working together in harmonious synergy to represent day and night respectively.

In my humble realisation, acceptance is integral in spiritual alchemy: the development of higher states of consciousness and realisation of the sovereignty of one’s Soul, Ātma - the boundless aspect of Soul.

LUMINOUS AYURVEDA provides a means of assimilating, balancing, digesting, and integrating this growth of amplified awareness on a daily basis.

In practising what I advise, I have found that this serves me well in order to transcend duality, distinguishing between this beautiful illusion and reality, so that I can enjoy blissful, positive experiences, harmony, and inner peace within and with others.”

An intersection of hippocrates’ modern medicine perspective in the west,

and fundamental concepts of classical ayurveda from the east

“Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease.”

— Hippocrates

“Body is nothing but a combination of Doshas (bio-energetic forces responsible for maintaining the physiology + governing principles of nature), Dhatus (bodily tissues), and Malas (bodily waste products).

If these body constituents are in equilibrium, the body will be in a healthy state.”

Ashtānga Hridayam, Sutrasthana, Chapt. 11

“Let food be thy medicine.”

— Hippocrates

“Let food be your medicine, and kitchen be your first pharmacy.”

— Ayurvedic Proverb
