Winter Wellness tip

From late Winter to early Spring, the cold, dull, heavy, sticky and wet natural qualities of Kapha Dosha are increasing in our external environment.

As the internal environment of our physiology is interconnected with our external environment, invigorating movement at the correct times of day honours these current qualities of Nature, and harmoniously balances them.

Moving & STIMULATING Kapha

Take a brisk walk in the fresh air for at least 20 minutes.

Ideally, go between 6 am and 10 am to gain the most health benefits, and secondly,

in the evening between 6 pm and 10 pm which are both ‘Kapha’ times of the day in Ayurveda.

We need to balance Kapha Dosha’s slow and sluggish qualities with movement stimulation.
